(318 words) Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin is undoubtedly the most important and beloved poet of our country. More than one generation of true connoisseurs of Russian literature has grown on his work. It is no secret that the theme of the poet is key in his poetry. The image of a lyrical hero helps us better understand the views, the worldview of Pushkin himself and society as a whole.
At the earliest stage of Pushkin’s work, we are faced with a sentimental image (for example, in the poem “Poet”, 1816). Here he sadly sings love. The text is filled with light melancholy and despondency. But time passes - the author’s worldview is changing, and hence the image of the poet. In the poem “The Village” (1819), we already have a real citizen calling to fight against the vices of society.
Recall the poem "The Conversation of the Book Seller with the Poet" (1824). In it, the poet appears before us as a "black sheep". He is very different from the whole society, as he is endowed with talent. The lyrical hero is a romantic who is not used to sharing his experiences with someone. Only to the bookseller does he talk about his unwillingness to tell the public about creativity. We see a similar image in another poem - “The Prophet” (1828). Here the author again appears before us as a hermit. Society does not understand him. Separately emphasized is the divine destiny granted not to everyone. It is worth mentioning that it is in this lyrical work that Pushkin sets out the necessary qualities of the creator that will distinguish him from other people. There is a similar image in such works as “The Poet and the Crowd” (1828), “The Poet” (1830), “Echo” (1831).
A kind of literary monument is created by Pushkin in the poem "I have erected a miraculous monument to myself" (1836). The poet emphasizes the need for debt to society. He kind of sums up all his work. Here we will find reflections on the complexity of life, and on freedom, and on the power of words, and, of course, on love for Russian nature.
Summarizing all of the above, I want to say that the image of the poet in A.S. Pushkin has changed with age. If at first we get acquainted with an individualist romantic, then already in the later stages of creativity we see a real creator who feels a duty to people. For this variety, we love the author!
