One truth is that life is pleasure, the other is that it is suffering. And now he recognizes only the last of these truths.
The next morning, Chang had a dream, where the former owner sold it to the captain. Traveling from the Chinese river to the Red Sea became a hell for Chang - he suffered from seasickness and in fear did not leave the corner of the corridor for three weeks while there was a storm outside.
Then his dream breaks from the noise behind the doors. The sailor drinks vodka directly from the bottle, pours Cangu into a bowl and goes back to bed. The dog laps, lies back and, drunk, sees a sunny and calm morning, already on the Red Sea. And Chang felt that there are two truths in the world - not only that which is swimming and living badly, but also completely different.
